The versatility of our bespoke oak framed buildings creates huge opportunity to utilize the space for habitable accommodation.

The oak structure can be manufactured to facilitate any use, be it guest accommodation, a gym, office, games room, studio, annex, conservatory, garden room or pool pavilion. We are able to accommodate these options in either single storey, lofted and/or two storey barns or as combined complexes incorporating garages and workshops of any size and shape.

The barn can be fully insulated and plastered, with heating, hot and cold running water, drainage for cloakroom, bathroom and kitchen facilities, lighting, electrical and power distribution and data installations. The barn can then be completed with internal fixtures and finishes of your choice. Surrey Oak Barns have friendly tradesmen experienced in the fitting-out of our barns should you wish us to undertake these aspects of your project.

As the majority of our skilled labour force is directly employed by us, you can be assured of the highest calibre of craftsmen who are familiar with working in domestic environments. All of our tradesmen know one another and are therefore able to ensure a coordinated and quality installation at each stage of your project.

We can assist you with the entire selection of fixtures and finishes from the kitchen and sanitary ware, to types of floor and wall finishes and even colour schemes that best blend and enhance the oak structure.

There are also many oak features that can be introduced such as trusses, curved wind bracing and purlin details.
