Dear James, As you know, I was extremely pleased with the barn you built for me - particularly as it was one built to some fairly unusual specifications as it needed to be a large, fully powered and sound proofed recording studio in one half and a workshop / tractor / quadbike storage in the other. On top of that - you had to hand carry every single beam, plank, brick, tile, screw and nail 500 yards, as the location was pretty unusual too. Both elements are absolutely perfect - even during our bitterly cold winter, the studio was lovely and warm, in fact I'm seriously considering moving in there! Not only was your company easy and friendly to deal with, importantly you came in on budget (which was a competitive price) and on time - and that's ultimately as important as a first class job, which you also did! I was also pleased that you made a few visits after the barn was constructed to see that everything was in order - that kind of detail is good too. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Surrey Oak Barns for just about any barn project you might care to wave a stick at - a more genuine, decent and hard working bunch of people would be hard to find. Dear James, This note comes from both of us to say a big “thank you” for everything you have done to bring to a satisfactory conclusion our barn project. First, we remember you optimism and tenacity in eventually achieving the planning permission. Then secondly, we admire your project management skills and particularly the way all the trades dovetailed in so that the whole project was achieved with such speed. Dear James, We employed Surrey Oak Barns during Summer 05 to build us a large oak framed barn to be used as an office. From planning to completion and handing over the keys the professionalism of the company was fantastic. We had various meetings throughout the contract to agree the specifications and every request was met with no quibbles. Their full understanding of our requirements was excellent. We were given a program of works and every aspect of the job went to schedule. We would not hesitate to use Surrey Oak Barns again and would recommend them 100%. Dear James, After much research, we commissioned Surrey Oak Barns to construct an oak framed, double open fronted barn and their sister company, Surrey Drives and Courtyards, to create a patio behind it. Surrey Oak Barns worked with us to transform our ideas into plans that ensured best use of space in an awkwardly shaped garden including the removal of an old war time concrete driveway, and then helped us through the planning approval process. Once the project was started, all the various teams needed, from pouring foundations to carpenters and roofers, arrived like clockwork until everything was completed. The project management was excellent, the quality of work outstanding and the attention to detail first class. The patio, stone steps and raised flower beds have made the garden a much more welcoming place. The barn is a magnificent and genuine enhancement to our property and has been complimented by friends and neighbours alike. We couldnít recommend Surrey Oak Barns highly enough!
